Summer in the Kennbunks is my favorite place to be! Here are some ideas that I love to do in the area! These are just a FEW ideas, so many more in town!
KENNEBUNK BEACHES:
Gooch’s Beach: Our go-to beach! Long white sands with a tidal pool on one end. Great surfing and it’s dog-friendly off-season all day and during summer it’s before 9am and after 5pm
Mother’s Beach: Small waves, playground, great for kids.
Parson’s Beach: Calm water/limited parking.
SHOPPING/THINGS TO DO:
Kennebunk Farmers Market Saturdays 8-12
Daytrip Society (Kennebunkport) AMAZING gifts and local goods. It’s my favorite store around and is award-winning
Daytrip Society Jr. : (Kennebunkport) Pretty much the cutest kid’s clothing/toys and book
Dockside Square Emporium: wonderful gift shop filled with a mixture of Maine-made and trendy gift ideas
The Treehouse Spa at Hidden Pond (Kennebunkport) If you book any spa treatment (that takes place in a treehouse) you can spend the day lounging, swimming, and eating at the adult-only pool! It’s magical.
Garden Street Bowl (Kennebunk) Fun bowling alley/arcade but also AWESOME grown-up food and adult milkshakes!
Snug Harbor (Kennebunk): Not only a wonderful place to purchase plants for landscaping, but their gift shop is darling and the grounds are beautifully curated with some adorable farm friends to visit.
